The Youth Life Foundation of the Triangle is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization ( EIN 22-3865411) that exists to nurture the child, strengthen the family, and rebuild the community. Fiscal Accountability
As an affiliate of the nationally known Darrell Green Youth Life Foundation, YLFT provides fiscal requirements beyond IRS regulations for non-profit organizations. The Board of Directors adopted a financial policy manual that addresses accounting standards such as the separation of duties, deposit procedures, reporting and auditing. YLFT also currently undergoes an annual financial on-site visit and quarterly reporting from the Darrell Green Youth Life Foundation. YLFT finances are reviewed monthly by the Treasurer of the Board of Directors and an external C.P.A. firm. YLFT also receives an annual audit from an external C.P.A. In addition, to this YLFT has successfully managed grant awards and contracts from federal, city, county and private agencies.
